I´m Anna. I am a blogger, coach and ultra running mum with a total passion and love for the mountains.
I actually write and blog inspirational and encouraging articles for an online magazine, my own blog and my private facebook community and mentor ambitious people to achieve their next higher goal.
In reality I help people who are craving a physical challenge unravel their best potential and achieve their goal with confidence and ease.
Let´s explore the journey to your finish line together.
In 2008, I made a crazy decision and ran the Marathon des Sables, a 6-day and 250 kilometres long self-supported running race through parts of the South Moroccan Sahara Desert. It changed my life on all levels and opened the doors into the world of ultra running.
Following a few years competing at a high level and dabbling in different distances, I realized how crucial mental fitness is to succeeding in any physical endeavor. If anything, the things I learned in my competitive endeavors have helped me endure in life´s other challenges, from learning to sign often well-paid jobs without any degrees or certifications in my pocket to raising two kids as a single mum for three years.
In late summer of 2016 I made a big dream come true and relocated to the Alps with my family to enjoy an outdoor lifestyle and the trails just outside the door whilst being able to work from home.
As a track and field middle distance runner I never used to hit my numbers and would constantly find myself in despair and frustration. In early 2000, I went to various Tony Robbins´ NLP seminars around the globe, from Australia to the US and Europe to learn and soak up all that I could to become a better person and athlete, feeling more confident in myself and acknowledge the gifts that taking risks in life bring.
After 23 years on my feet as a runner and countless lessons learned along my way I know what it takes to go the extra mile and endure in life´s challenges. It´s all these experiences which help me guide and mentor others to their success. I feel humbled and very grateful to be able to use my gifts and give it those who will benefit from it.
I have been able to turn my greatest weakness into my best ability. What I know is that there is always more than one way to the finish line. Risk a little change and gain a fresh perspective in life.
Some more facts about me: After finishing high school, I went on to study Languages at University, quit after six months and began Studying architecture. After almost two years, I changed my path again and signed up with Tony Robbins´ Mastery University extensively studying NLP, mindset and manifestation.
Years later, I went on to become a certified Leadership and Competence trainer. I´ve always had a strong inner drive and luckily the funds to invest in myself and self-development. It´s a journey in progress.
